Frequently asked questions

Do I get a certificate after completing a training session with Horizon Institution?

Yes absolutely. We will provide 2 types of certifications. Certificate of attendance & certificate of competency course. Depends what course that you attend.

What language are the courses conducted in?

The classes will be conducted primarily in English. However, our trainers are bi-lingual and multi-lingual, thus if a trainee can understand things better in either Bahasa Malaysia or other Chinese dialects including Mandarin or Cantonese, our trainers will be able to provide them with an explanation in these languages.

What methodology do you apply for your courses?

Horizon Institutions provides lectures, video shows, demonstrations and activities.

I want to learn about a specific heavy industry-related topic but Horizon Institution doesn’t provide that. Can I specially request for it?

Yes sure. We have many of expert’s trainers from various of heavy industries backgrounds in Malaysia that can help you.

Can my company pay for me?

Of course. Our course for individual and company.

Are there any additional costs aside from the course fees?

Only SST 6% from course price.

Can the knowledge from these programs be applied to companies outside Malaysia?

Yes, you can implement and perform the knowledge everywhere in the world. But some of the countries have selected certificates which the country approved. So maybe you need to attend again the course at that country.

Do I need equipment or materials during these courses?

Few courses involving practical exercise and assessment need equipment and materials. But most of the tools we will provide to all participants.

How will I receive training materials if I join these courses remotely?

During lockdown in Malaysia, we actively do all training in online platform and for the material like documents we will sent to all participants in soft copy. But for equipment and materials we will change to video presentation to ensure all of participants understand.

I am not able to attend a class despite already paying for it. How can I cancel?

We will reschedule for next session course.

For remote classes, what online learning platform will be used to conduct the sessions?

Currently we used Zoom platform.

Can I suggest a new course that doesn’t exist yet for Horizon Institutions future classes, but it relevant to me?

Sure can, we happy to know.

Can I apply to become a trainer and provide my own classes for Horizon Institution?

Yes, we happy to do collaboration with others.

Are these courses tax deductible?

Our company and trainer registered with HRDF. You can claim with HRDF if attend any of our course.
