About this programme
A three-day programme that equips appointed employees with foundational OSH knowledge and practical tools to coordinate workplace safety and health activities.
This programme introduces the role of the OSH Coordinator and the fundamentals needed to support an employer's workplace safety and health arrangements. Participants learn core legal responsibilities, basic OSH management, hazard identification, risk assessment and practical coordination of OSH records, communication and improvement activities.

- Able to participate fully in Bahasa Malaysia or English
- Employer nomination is recommended where the participant will be appointed as the OSH Coordinator

CERTIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
What you receive and how it's recognised
Interactive lectures, facilitated discussion, case examples and group exercises.
Attendance, participation and course exercises/knowledge checks. Final assessment method and pass criteria must follow the approved course scheme.
Certificate of Completion/Attendance. OSH Coordinator trained-person recognition should only be stated when the course is conducted through a DOSH-registered training centre or approved arrangement.
Confirm against the current DOSH/MyKKP requirements before publishing; do not state a fixed expiry unless supported by the approved scheme.
DOSH states that an OSH Coordinator must successfully complete the prescribed course conducted by a training centre registered with DOSH. Confirm Horizon's current provider/partner status before using 'DOSH-approved' or 'JKKP-approved'.
