About this programme

Focused training for personnel assigned to monitor hot work, control ignition risks and initiate the correct response if fire or unsafe conditions develop.

The programme prepares fire watchers to support safe hot work under a permit-to-work system. It covers responsibilities before, during and after hot work, hazard-zone monitoring, combustible control, extinguisher readiness, communication, stop-work actions and post-work fire watch requirements.

Validity and refresher

Client/site or scheme specific; confirm before publishing a fixed validity period.

Recognition and compliance note

General or client-specific fire watcher training. Petronas/offshore or other branded acceptance must not be claimed unless the exact approved scheme is used.
